Kidney stones or renal calculi is a frequent disease happening among adult compared to children. If a family has kidney stones history then the children would have high risks to get the same disease.

Symptoms or evidence that a person may suffer from kidney stones are:

  • Blood in the urine
  • Increased frequency to urinate and not comfortable when urinating
  • Nausea and vomit
  • Sense of pain when urinating
  • Pain in bladder or back area
  • Having urine infection

Drink such as lime juice or lemonade is rich with citrate source which may reduce the formation of kidney stones. Avoid eating food which contains high salt. Treat urine infection quickly.

If kidney stones are untreated, in time it will disturb the patient’s kidney function and raise negative effects.
